Modernizing tradition: Samish drumming group grows cultural connections

Vibrations echoed throughout the entire building as seven members of the Samish Indian Nation hit a large powwow drum in unison. The seven drummers, as well as the people who were singing along, are part of the Samish Drumming Group that has been meeting twice a month since September.
